Bank transfer at Chancer
The banking rail wins on one thing above all others: it leaves a record you can obtain yourself. Instant transfer schemes run around the clock, and every entry carries an identifier your bank can retrieve years later. In a dispute that document outranks any screenshot, because it comes from a neutral third party. The rest of the rails are covered on the payments overview.

The account you send from
The account holder and the player account must be the same person, and this is enforced more strictly here than anywhere else, because the bank prints the name on every entry. A joint account, a company account or a relative’s account all create the same problem: the payout is refused and the balance sits locked until ownership is documented.
If the account used for a deposit has since been closed, say so before requesting a withdrawal. Operators do allow an alternative route, but they will want the bank’s confirmation of the closure — far easier to obtain while nobody is waiting on it.
Reference codes and matching
Transfers find your account through the reference. When the cashier issues a code, copy it character for character and add nothing of your own. A missing or altered reference is the most common cause of a transfer that has plainly left the bank yet never appears on the balance: the money exists, but nothing ties it to a player.
Take the beneficiary details from the cashier every time rather than from a saved template. Receiving accounts change periodically, a stored template will not tell you that, and recovering a transfer sent to a retired account takes weeks.
Documents your bank can issue
| Document | What it establishes | How to obtain it |
|---|---|---|
| Transaction confirmation with reference number | That the transfer happened and is traceable | Online banking, transaction detail |
| Statement extract for the day | Amount, date and beneficiary | Online banking or branch |
| Scheme message data | That the funds left the sending bank | Bank support, on written request |
| Confirmation of account closure | Why the closed loop cannot be honoured | The account-holding bank |
| Evidence of a returned transfer | That the money came back to the sender | Online banking transaction list |
When the payout stops on the banking leg
The useful question is never how much longer to wait; it is what the obstacle is. If the answer amounts to in progress, ask for the specific cause: a missing document, a name mismatch, or a case sitting with the payment provider. If the answer cites the rules, ask for the clause number, since there is nothing to argue with otherwise.
Where the operator states that funds were sent and your bank states that nothing arrived, those two statements together are evidence in their own right, and they belong in the file you take to the complaints procedure.
Two things the banking rail does not do
It offers no protection against a bonus dispute — the contractual side runs in parallel and is governed by the terms. And chargeback is a card concept that does not exist here; a bank transfer can only be subject to a recall request, which the receiving bank may decline.
