Released by Mascot Gaming at Christmas 2020, this title mixes horror with the holidays, but what concerns us here is the Risk & Buy feature. The game contains steps where a player spends or risks money in a separate operation – and every such operation is a standalone transaction that leaves its own trace in the log.
The game on paper

Return to player is 95.2%, below the customary 96% mark – worth knowing up front, because it is a published parameter and therefore cannot ground a complaint. A relatively low ceiling with medium volatility produces a balanced rhythm. That helps with reading the log as well: many small rounds, easy to follow row by row.
Feature rounds step by step
In the Santa’s Gift feature, gift combinations resolve into one of three outcomes: cash prizes, wild symbols carrying multipliers of up to x5, or various free-spin variants. The free-spin series is retriggerable, so it can extend within the round while further gifts accumulate on screen.
Risk & Buy is two separate options under one name. The risk step puts an already-won amount on the line for a stronger free-spin series; the buy step purchases free spins on a non-winning round. Both are financial operations that leave their own trace in the log, which is precisely what makes them verifiable.
Stakes and limits in forints
Mascot Gaming quotes $0.20–$50, converted into forints by the operator. In practice that can mean a minimum of a few dozen forints and a maximum in the thousands, with the ladder in the stake selector. A purchase costs a multiple of that stake, so even a 200 Ft base bet turns into a several-thousand-forint one-off outlay.
A practical habit: note the balance before buying. If a dispute later turns on whether the debit occurred, the difference between the balance before and after the purchase is the first and simplest evidence.
When a round breaks off
There are two distinct cases worth separating. The first is an interrupted risk step: the interface is waiting on a player decision, the provider stores that state, and reopening the game normally restores the decision point with the stake intact. The second is an interrupted purchase, which is more serious because money has already moved.

Reading the game history
On buy-feature games the log contains two kinds of rows: ordinary spins and separate operations. A purchase appears with its own identifier, timestamp and amount, and the bonus round it funded links back to it. That pairing is what a complaint should quote.
The risk step leaves a trace too, since it moves the balance. If someone is unsure what they accepted on screen, the log shows afterwards exactly how much was put at risk and how it resolved.
Where a claim on a single spin ends
Examinable: a purchase debited without the round starting, a risk outcome that never settled, or a credited amount that differs from the partial figures in the log. Not examinable: that the risk went badly, or that purchased free spins paid little – those are outcomes decided by a generator certified by an independent laboratory.
