VIP and Loyalty at Chancer
Loyalty schemes are the only promotion type where part of the conditions is deliberately unpublished. That is not misconduct, but it has a consequence: where nothing was published, there is very little to challenge afterwards. So this guide is not a list of perks. It is an assessment of what can and cannot be held to account in a tier system.
See Current Chancer OffersHow the tier system operates
Placement is computed from activity, typically betting volume over a defined period, and updates automatically. Tier names, thresholds and the benefits attached to each level follow the programme rules as they stand at the time. One detail deserves emphasis: upper tiers are usually re-evaluated periodically, so a placement is a state rather than an acquired right, and it can fall as well as rise.
What sits inside the operator's discretion
- Admission to invitation-only tiers, which in many schemes is a decision rather than a threshold.
- The content and frequency of personalised offers.
- Demotion after a period of inactivity.
- Removal from the programme where abuse is suspected.
- The conversion terms for points, credits or tier benefits.
Rulebooks generally state that discretion openly. Where a decision rests on one of these points, the realistic objective is not to overturn it but to obtain written reasoning and the text of the condition relied upon.
Questions worth settling in advance
- What counts towards tier progress and what does not — bets funded from bonus balance, for instance.
- Which period the assessment covers, and when the review takes place.
- Whether accumulated points expire during inactivity, and after how long.
- On what terms tier benefits convert, and whether a wagering obligation attaches to them.
Put these to support in writing and keep the replies. A timestamped email may end up being the only document that records anything about the unpublished side of the scheme.
If a tier or a benefit is contested
The route is the same as for any other offer: a written approach, a request for the precise clause, a case number, and completion of the internal complaints procedure. If it stalls there, the regulator of the licensing jurisdiction is next, and that authority's competence depends on where the licence was issued. The SZTFH examines an individual money dispute where the operator appears on the Hungarian register of licensed providers. The full sequence is in the complaints guide.
The logic of the scheme, plainly
Loyalty programmes exist to encourage regular play, and nobody pretends otherwise. From that follows the most important caution on this page: reaching a tier should never become the objective. Playing on through a week to avoid slipping a level means the scheme is no longer working for you. A benefit is worth something when it arises from activity you would have chosen anyway. The limits described under responsible gambling and, where needed, the self-exclusion tools remain available at any tier.
Several tier benefits carry the ordinary bonus clauses as well, so it is worth reading the bonus terms before converting any of them.

Points, tiers and the personal contact
Most schemes run on points: real-money bets generate them, and points drive placement. Upper tiers commonly bring a higher rebate rate, faster handling and a named contact. That last one is convenient, but worth understanding correctly — the contact works for the operator, and a friendly relationship does not replace the formal complaints procedure.
Conversion rates and point expiry are set out in the programme rules and are amended from time to time. If you accumulate, check those parameters once a year: the value of a balance you have been building can quietly change when the rules do.
